How they start is how they’ll finish. The teaching philosophies and cross-curricular learning opportunities that guide our 8th Grade students are the same ones that ensure Meyer kindergarten students fall in love with the wonder of discovery. The result is a self-assured, effective communicator and probing learner who respects and has considerate and caring relationships with his parents, peers, and community.
Kindergarten at Meyer Prep is an emotional safe haven. We engage your child in fascination-centered learning, advancing the individualized learning experience. Our teachers are not only committed to teaching; they’re committed to learning alongside your child. This is true in Kindergarten through 8th grade and is central to the intentional Meyer community and culture.

Kindergarten begins with a set of standards, pillars that demonstrate by example and application how members of the Meyer Prep community conduct themselves and treat one another.
Each learning experience we design for your child is purposed to prepare him or her to enter First Grade—and every grade that follows—equipped and motivated to thrive. Every Meyer Prep kindergartner enters first grade knowing at least 650 Hebrew words and having attained conversational Hebrew and comprehension.
Low student/teacher ratios and our developmentally appropriate environment positively impact and encourage your child’s self-assuredness, resourcefulness, and positive identity while promoting a strong sense of wellbeing and happiness.
During the admission process, your child may spend a day in a Kindergarten classroom to experience joyful learning at Meyer Prep.
