Last Thursday our middle school students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a special town hall event with Diane and Neil Exter, who are generously supporting the planned state-of-the-art multi-use facility for our campus, the Exter Center.
Students engaged in a lively Q&A session, asking the Exters thoughtful questions about what inspires their tzedakah, the twists and turns of their educational and career paths, why they support Jewish education, and the best advice they could offer for success. Neil and Diane shared personal stories about their journeys, their passion for making a difference, how they are dedicated to “turning oys into joys,” and their vision for the Exter Center as a hub for our campus and community.
The Exters also encouraged students to dream big, stay curious, be lifelong learners, and embrace the values of perseverance and giving back. Their inspiring words left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.
We are deeply grateful for the Exters’ generosity and the time they spent connecting with our students. The Exter Center will be a transformative space for learning, competing, creating, and celebrating, and we can’t wait to see it come to life!
