Last week, middle school students put their knowledge of the scientific method into practice. Eighth graders were given supplies and had to design their own experiment. Some groups tested the effect of different-sized marbles on the distance a paper dragon travelled. Other groups tested the distance the dragon moved when the marble was released from different heights. Seventh graders tested notebook paper airplanes vs. printer paper airplanes to determine which would fly longer. Finally, 6th graders tested whether a penny could hold more drops of regular water or soapy water. Check out some great pictures below!
