• Meyer is a community.

With an active and vibrant Parent Kesher (PTO), premier events, family activities, and more, your family can get involved, connect, and engage to become a part of our dynamic community.

"My family chose Meyer because of the warm, nurturing environment and high level of individualized academics. After both of our kids graduated, as a Meyer family, we gained not only a top-notch education that prepared them for high school and college but a wonderful community of friends.”

        • Your Gift Makes an Impact.

There is no investment more important and meaningful than the investment in our community’s children.

Meyer Prep’s exceptional program is only possible with support from our local community donors. Like most independent schools, Meyer Prep relies on financial support to deliver an outstanding education to our students, as tuition covers only a percentage of the operating expenses of the school each year.  Thank you for your continuous support.

Staff Spotlight - Adrienne Turk

We love our Meyer Prep Faculty and Staff! We look forward to introducing you to a new staff member each week so that you can see the dedicated, smiling faces of Meyer Prep.

This week, meet Mrs. Adrienne Turk. Mrs. Turk teaches Kindergarten-8th Grade Art and our Visual Arts Elective.

Here are some fun facts about Mrs. Turk:

Where are you from?

I live in Florida now, but I will always be a New Yorker.

What is something you love to do outside of school?

I love to read about art, go see art and I love to make art. I am also an Adjunct Professor at Palm Beach State College and I currently have 2 new lockdown inspired works on display in a Faculty Exhibition at the Lake Worth campus.

What is one of your personal goals?

I would love to eat my way through Paris and to see the Mona Lisa when the world opens up again. And a Ph.D. in art history would be nice too.

Where's your 'happy place'?

My happy place is my state of mind when I am participating in the artistic process. Anytime I can be in the artmaking moment is when I am most at peace. This is why I love to teach art as much as making art.

What is something your students might not know about you?

My spirit animal is a monkey. Monkeys represent curiosity, energy, playfulness, compassion, and creativity. Also, when my daughter (a Meyer graduate) was little, I called her my “Maya Monkey."
